Responsibilities:

• Source/identify potential M&A targets.
• Work on corporate development projects – JVs, Investments, M&A, Acquisitions, Strategy development, commercial viability, new business development at the corporate and business unit level
• Involvement in technical work i.e reviewing due diligence reports on financial, tax, legal and technical matters, M&A project management, review of documentation, completion and integration arrangements. Able to translate the issues identified into structuring, valuation and negotiation solutions.
• Work along the senior management, C-suite and head of team in competitive bid processes. Work with other internal stakeholders to execute and bring deals to a close
• Conduct financial modelling to assess / support investment decisions, regional businesses and acquisitions; present financial analysis to key stakeholders
• Participating in meetings and maintaining continual interactions with clients, potential targets/buyers and other professional firms
• Leading preparations of proposals and discussion materials
• Conducting detailed financial analysis, valuation, industry research and target/buyer search
• Preparing information memorandums and management presentations
• Facilitating due diligence processes
• Supporting negotiations and closing procedures

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business management, accounting or finance
• 10-15 years M&A experience in Corporate Finance/ advisory firms/ buyside/ other corporate firms in their internal M&A or Corporate Development team / project finance / investment banking/International experience for M&A.
• Knowledge in both buy-side and sell-side M&A activities.
• Sector experience in energy, power, utilities, infrastructure, oil & gas will be advantageous
• Able to build financial models, around 4-5 years of relevant work experience
• Past experience in an environmental engineering firm dealing with EPC & Investment projects will be beneficial.
• Team player, High EQ, self-motivated, hands-on
• Good in presentations, negotiation and have exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization, deal with senior level business & C-level stakeholders, and work collaboratively in a team environment
• “Can do” attitude and a willingness to learn from and contribute to a high-performance team.
